You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.
My daily goal…
Help someone, in some way, Today !
After moving back from Tennessee to Louisiana, I has a Senior Moment Crisis and thought I needed a classic automobile, so I got a 1994 Vette, and kept it for a while, didn’t drive it much, so I sold it for someone else to enjoy.
Today is Tuesday, April 27,2021. Im thankful I could go to the church for prayer meeting for the first time in over three months. I went to pray for others, to pray with some of the wonderful friends, that have been praying for me. It was a great time, after what God has done for me.
You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.
Some days, you get the bear and some days, the bear gets you.
My story
After listening to a sermon tonight by Dr Tim Hill, I decided that this is about my latest adventure.
I twisted my foot three months ago, it turned red, blue, then purple, and started swelling, so I went to my left foot doctor, he x-rayed it, and informed me, that it was broken. In reference to the scripture about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, I felt that I was thrown into the fire. Then he told me, my right foot had an ulcer on the bottom, which had infection in it. Now, I felt they started were turning the heat up. I went home feeling depressed and feeling the heat, then I was reminded of the forth man seen in the fire. I know, that forth man is the One who went to the cross for me, and that by His stripes, I was healed. I knew, at that moment I would begin to heal, and after 3 months of treatment, for each foot, I was being healed. A healing that will soon put me back on my feet. Thank you Lord.
I am in the process of being heal so I can walk again on two feet. God has healed one of my feet, and I can wear a real shoe on it and use it to push my knee scooter for the left foot which He is healing as it is broken.
One day at a time.
Today is Tuesday April 13, 2021.
I’m sitting, taking in my view out behind the house. I do love it. Lately, I have had plenty of time to do that. Patiently, no impatiently waiting for my next foot doctor visit next week, looking for a great report on my foot, hoping he can come up with a way to get me back on two feet again.
Today is Tuesday, April 13th.
My darling wife Shirley is wonderful and has worked so hard these past 2 1/2 months taking care of me and meeting my every needs and more. Besides hauling me to doctor appointments, which have been many, she cooks, waits on me with food, coffee, medicines, and keeping me in clean clothes, she takes me places, like my favorite breakfast place, and others, all the while carrying my knee scooter, lifting it to put it in and out of the car everywhere we go, even so I can go to our church services. She is such a blessing. I love her so much.
What else can I say about Shirley. She woke me up at 5 AM this morning, asking about batteries for a smoke detector. She had already brought the 6 ft stepladder in from the garage, and was preparing to climb it and change out the battery in the detector near the bedroom. I felt so bd that I couldn’t stand on my feet, much less, climb the ladder to fix the detector. I didn’t mention the other 5 that may need batteries soon, ha. She just did my job, and said, go back to sleep. She’s the best !
